CHRIST COMMUNITY CHURCHPURPOSE The purpose of this church shall be: a – To carry out the Great Commission of Christ in evangelizing the lost by individually and corporately giving witness to the power of Christ, and by promoting the ministry of the Word at home and abroad. b – To carry out the Great Commission of Christ in discipling the believer by maintaining regular services for both instruction and public worship, by administering the ordinances of the New Testament, and by providing such institutions and organizations as would equip our people to better service Christ. Church Covenant Having been led by the Holy Spirit to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and on the profession of our faith in Him, having been buried with Him in baptism and united to His Church we do now covenant together that we will walk, with the help of God, in all the commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ. We promise that we will walk together in brotherly love, watch over and care for one another, remember one another in our prayers and bear one another's burdens and sorrows. We further promise that, as we have opportunity, we will do good to all men: that we will strive to win our family and friends to the Savior and to spread the Gospel to every nation; that we will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together but as far as possible, will attend all the meetings of the Church; that we will give as God has prospered us for the support of the ministry, the expenses of the Church, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel through all nations; that we will seek and pray for the spirituality, harmony and prosperity of this Church and that we will sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrine. We further promise that we will maintain private and family devotions; that we will bring up our children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord; that we will live carefully in the world and will abstain from anything that would cause our brother to stumble to bring shame to the cause of Christ: that we will give ourselves and all that we have to the Lord to keep and to use as He sees fit and that we will earnestly seek to live to the honor and glory of Him Who loves us and gave Himself for us. We moreover promise that we will continue in this Church fellowship and membership until we remove to another place and then will, as soon as possible unite with some other New Testament Church in which we will carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of the Word of God. DOCTRINE
1 – The Holy Scriptures We believe in the Bible, accepting fully the writings of the Old and New Testaments as the Word of God, verbally inspired in all parts and therefore wholly without error, altogether sufficient in themselves as our only infallible rule of faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:19-21, I Thessalonians2:13)
2 – The Godhead We believe in the Triune God, the Creator of heaven and earth, eternally existing in three Persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe God is self-existent, immutable, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, and perfect in truth, love and holiness. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14)
3 – God the Father We believe in God the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Psalms 8, John 1:12, Titus 3:5, Isaiah 6:1-4)
4 – God the Son We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless life, that he died for our sins according to the scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, having victory over death. We believe in His bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father ministering as our High Priest and Intercessor and His personal, visible return to earth. (John 1:1, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, Luke 1:35, I John 2:1, Hebrews 4:14)
5 – God the Holy Spirit We believe in the Holy Spirit, possessing all the attributes of personality and deity, who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; and to regenerate, sanctify and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ, abiding in them as helper, teacher and guide. (John 6:7-11, II Corinthians 3:6, I Corinthians 12:12-14, Romans 8:9, Ephesians 1:13-14, Acts 5:3-4)

Visitor's Brochure
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." (Luke 10:27) This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself."(Luke 10:27) All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
